Meet Our Doc

Dr. Blythe McPherson is your new eye care provider for Westlake and the surrounding suburbs. Dr. Blythe McPherson founded Eyes on Westlake in 2020 with a desire to integrate medical eye care services and optical fashion in a boutique setting.

Dr. Blythe McPherson obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated with honors from Texas Tech University. Following her time in Lubbock, she acquired her doctorate and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed 2 prestigious rotations during her final year of school and received many clinical letters of excellence.

Dr. Blythe McPherson is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She completed extensive training in ocular disease treatment and management for conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. She has a passion for managing dry eye syndrome, and fitting specialty contact lenses for conditions such as keratoconus, post-graft corneas, and other corneal irregularities.

Dr. Blythe McPherson is from a small town in the Texas Panhandle and is an avid lover of college sports. As a former collegiate basketball player, she loves to attend live sporting events and cheer on her Red Raiders. When the white coat comes off, she enjoys working out, traveling, relaxing by a pool or patio, and soaking in treasured moments with her husband, Josh, and their two littles, Cutter & Kimber.

Meet Our Dog

Meet this handsome jelly roll we call Boudreaux. He is a playful, sweet English Bulldog who can’t wait to greet you at Eyes on Westlake.

He loves belly rubs, sun-bathing, and staring at you while you eat. Boudreaux specializes in napping and has completed extensive training in the art of loud snoring.

This slobbery, snoring snuggler is a lover at heart. We hope you love this sassy, sometimes gassy, jiggly boy as much as we do!
